10 reasons why Brazilians are extraordinary people

Bernard

What makes Brazil such a special country? Brazil is home to some of the most beautiful beaches, nature, and colonial cities. But let’s face it, you can find those in other Latin American countries too. According to me and many tourists, it is the Brazilians themselves that make a visit to Brazil so special.

10 reasons why Brazilians are extraordinary people:

1. Their relationship with the sun.
2. How they say hello to someone.
3. Their looks.
4. How they dance together.
5. Their social skills.
6. How they like parties.
7. How they enjoy life.
8. How family really is number one for them.
9. How exuberant they are.
10. How helpful they are.

1. Their relationship with the sun.

When the sun sets on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Brazilians clap their hands, cheer and whistle exuberantly to celebrate.

2. How they say hello to someone.

When you first meet a Brazilian you get a kiss from the woman. In addition to a firm handshake, the man often gives you a friendly pat on the back. At the second meeting, a hug follows as standard.

3. Their looks.

The beauty of Brazilians is a positive consequence of the ethnic mix that has been going on for centuries on a large scale. Nothing like racial separation, as was the norm for a long time elsewhere in the world.

4. How they dance together.

In the West, it doesn’t happen anymore, but in Brazil’s forró and samba clubs, men still do it. Invite a woman to dance hand in hand with him. This is so graceful and unfortunately hardly visible in the Western world due to new music styles.

5. Their social skills.

Brazilians are always ready to have a chat with you and are never looking for words to keep the conversation going. They are masters in it.

Whether you are in the pub or in the supermarket near the mangos, before you know it, you are chatting with a Brazilian.

6. How they like parties.

They know better than anyone how to build a party. Take Carnival as an example. You can consider that as one of the biggest parties in the world. The party officially lasts 5 days. In the weekends before (pre-carnival) – so-called practice – and the following weekends (post-carnival), parties are also organized.

In short, they are busy with Carnival alone for almost two months a year. What other countries in the world can compete with that. I rest my case.

7. How they enjoy life.

They really take the time for that. Sunday is, for example, a day that people don’t work, shop or DIY, they only relax with friends and family.

8. How family really is number one for them.

When you ask a Brazilian where they prefer to live, they will all answer with their birthplace. Whether this is the metropolis Rio de Janeiro or a small place in the interior of Brazil, it doesn’t matter. They simply want to live as close as possible to their family.

9. How exuberant they are.

I have never seen such an enthusiastic audience at a pop concert like in Brazil. I was present at the concert that Paul McCartney gave in Belo Horizonte. From the moment he entered the stage until the end of his show, the entire stadium went completely crazy. They can live in the moment like no other.

10. How helpful they are.

Ask a Brazilian man the way and he will drop everything to help you. He or she will walk a few blocks with you when needed to make sure you are heading in the right direction.
